Teen boy stabbed at Pickering house party


Durham police are investigating a stabbing at a Pickering house party that left a 16-year-old boy with serious injuries.

Officers were called about an armed person at a home near Breezy Drive and Mink Street, in the Oklahoma Road and West Shore Boulevard by Frenchman’s Bay, around 8:50 p.m. Friday.

Police say there were a number of youth at the party when an altercation broke out and when they arrived at the scene, a number of people were fleeing the area.

The boy was stabbed, but his injuries are considered non-life threatening. Police later found him at a Toronto-area hospital.
