Toronto police issue warning about GTA long-term care worker accused of lying about credentials and identity


A woman is facing fraud charges after Toronto police say she posed as someone else and used their credentials to get jobs at long-term care homes throughout the GTA.

She worked at different homes between June 2020 and June 2024.

Police also allege she showed fake documents to get the jobs.

Anh Nguyen, 31, of Toronto was arrested Sunday and charged with two counts of utter forged document, two counts of personation to gain advantage and two counts of fraud over $5,000.

Investigators believe she may have worked at other locations under false pretenses. If you hired her or any had contact with her in a professional capacity, call police.
