Three arrested after man held against his will and beaten in Pickering apartment

Durham police say a man was held against his will in a Pickering apartment, tied up and beaten.

Police were called to a condo building on Bayly Street, just after midnight Thursday.

Officers found the unit and heard noises inside, so they forced their way in.

The victim, a 26-year-old Pickering man, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Two men, aged 23 and 18, and a 19-year-old woman were arrested.

Police don’t believe it was a random incident.

Anyone with information can call police at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2534 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
