Police investigate two separate shootings in Oshawa; no one injured

No one is physically hurt after two separate shootings in a two-day period in Oshawa.

Police were first called around 6:20 p.m. Thursday to the area of Rideau Street and Anderson Avenue, near Bond Street and Park Road.

They say two people had been arguing when one of them pulled out a gun and opened fire in the other’s direction. No one was physically hurt.

Officers later pulled over his vehicle and arrested him.

Noah Hurlock, 25, of Oshawa, faces 16 charges, including discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life. Police say he had already been on a prohibition order for firearms as a result of a previous conviction.

Anyone with information can call investigators at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2740.

Meantime, police are looking into a separate shooting that happened the following night (pictured above).

They tweeted out around 9:40 p.m. Friday that shots had been fired in the area of Colborne Street West and Kaiser Crescent, near Adelaide Avenue and Centre Street.

Again, no injuries have been reported.

By golly, the Liberal’s gun control policies of seizing firearms from hunters, target shooters and farmers is sure working well curbing inner city shootings aren’t they? What a pathetic joke Liberal gun control and bail reform laws are!
