St. Thomas man charged after Trudeau pelted with gravel

Police in London, Ontario have arrested a St. Thomas man after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was hit with gravel while stepping onto his campaign bus.

The incident happened Monday during a campaign stop in London, and was rebuked by Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole and NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh.

Shane Marshall, 25, has been charged with assault with a weapon.

Marshall shares a name with the president of a nearby People’s Party riding association who was removed from the job after the incident. However, the party has not confirmed to the Canadian Press if they’re the same person.

I do not agree with throwing things at the office of prime minister.
However Never heard of assault with a weapon that “did not hurt”. Well yes I guess as an after thought little justie’s little feelings may have been hurt. Guess that is assault. Be careful on the beach kicking sand–
Trudeau said at the time it was nothing, was not hurt–is this setting a precedent for kids on the playground –will that soon be charged with assault.

The drama teacher sure gave an Emmy performance for the media afterward. I was waiting for some tears when he said he will fight for all the people being bullied. But wait….does that include the ladies bullied in his cabinet who had to resign.

Thanks!
