A Mini Cooper that caught fire on a rooftop parking lot near the Pickering Town Centre caused a bit of a distraction on the nearby 401 Wednesday afternoon. The car burst into flames around 3:30 and was quickly put out. No word how the fire started but damage to the car was extensive. Durham police said there were no closures as a result but the 401 did slow in both directions at the time of the incident.
