FATAL ACCIDENT IN NORTH DURHAM

Durham Police are investigating a fatal accident that happened near Beaverton. Officials say at about 7:30 Thursday night, the driver of an SUV lost control on Regional Road 23 near Thorah Concession 4.  The vehicle rolled over and the driver was ejected.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.  Police are still trying to determine the cause of the crash and the victim’s identity has not been released.
