Oshawa man killed in three vehicle crash in Pickering

It seems the bad weather has led to at least one death in Durham Region.  Police say a 49 year old Oshawa man was killed in a three vehicle crash that happened just after 7:00 Friday morning, in the Brock Road and Whitevale area, in Pickering.  No charges have been laid, and the name of the victim has not been released.  Any witnesses are urged to call police at 905-579-1520, ext.5272 or crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

    This corner is a very dangerous one. I’m assuming someone else has already died at this same corner because of the flowers laid on the side of the road. On a very foggy day last year, my sister drove right into the middle of Brock Rd and ended up being hit and sent into the ditch. Luckily, she survived. There needs to be a flashing light or stop light at this corner!
