Charges officially laid in Boxing Day police shooting in Oshawa

Charges have now officially been laid in the Boxing Day police shooting in Oshawa. The accused was shot by officers, after allegedly breaking into the McIntosh-Anderson-Kellam Funeral Home, and driving out through the garage doors in a hearse.  Durham Police say 24 year-old Shawn Jonathon Alves, who’s still recovering in hospital, is facing a total of 23 charges including three counts of attempted murder.
