Several suspects sought, after two street level robberies in Ajax

Thankfully no one was hurt in two separate street level robberies in Ajax.  Durham Police say at about 7:30 Wednesday night a group of 15 and 16 year olds were robbed by five people, in the Westney and Rossland area.  Then, at about 8:00, two girls aged 11 and 12 were robbed by three people, in the area of Coles and Chapman Drive.  In both cases, the suspects made off with the victim’s cell phones.  Suspects in the first incident are described as black males wearing dark clothing and one of the suspects had his face covered.  In the second incident, the first suspect is described as male, 5’2″ with a slim build, was wearing all black clothing and a skeleton mask.  The second suspect was male, 5’4″ with a slim build, was wearing all black clothing and a skeleton mask and the third was male, 5’7″ with a slim build, wearing all black clothing with a skeleton mask.  Anyone with information is urged to call police at 905-579-1520, ext. 2565 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
