Food Banks Canada says people still need their services

Food Banks Canada releasing its annual report and it shows food bank use remains well above 2008 recession levels. More than 882,000 Canadians used a food back in March, that’s up 2.4 percent from 2011. There are five recommendations to combat the issue including investing in more affordable housing to ensure people don’t have to choose between food and rent.
