Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Durham, GTA, Toronto

Toronto Hydro is reporting 9,000 residents and businesses are without power after “Sandy” blew in overnight.  Hydro One says they have multiple outages across the province leaving 27,000 customers in the dark.   There are several pockets in the Orono area that are down, and according to Hydro One’s website, they hope to have the lights back on there by about 11:00 Tuesday night.  For more information, click the following…Toronto Hydro , Hydro One , Veridian.

How do we know what areas are without power? I work in Toronto and there is no point to drive all the way in if they don’t have power.
