Halloween lovers in Oshawa are in for both tricks and treats at this year’s inaugural Halloween parade event. Event Producer Chris Trubela says the event will feature a parade Saturday afternoon, but also an all afternoon and into the evening event at Memorial Park which includes paranormal researchers, musical performers, psychics and even a side show act. Trubela says the free event is targeted primarily at an older audience, but says kids will also enjoy the festivities. The event will run from 2:00 to 11:00 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Park, with the parade beginning at city hall at 5:30 p.m. The route will take Halloween haunters up Bagot Street, south on Centre Street, to John Street and finish at E.A. Lovell School.
