Toronto ombudsman zeroes in on TTC

The TTC is in the ombudsman’s cross-hairs Thursday. The Commission is getting raked over the rails over a plan to build second exits at subway stations. The city’s ombudsman says communication between the transit company and residents was poor and misleading. The project has been on the books since 2004 but residents didn’t find out until years later that land around the stations would be needed.
