Former Oshawa councillor remains behind bars

The former Oshawa council accused in a kidnapping and police standoff will spend a couple more weeks behind bars. Robert Lutczyk has been in custody since turning himself into police last Wednesday, following a 27 hour standoff in Whitby. He has yet to have his bail hearing, and his next court appearance isn’t scheduled until November 8th.
