Dwight Duncan says he has no plans to run for the Liberal leadership

Dwight Duncan will not be in the running for Premier Dalton McGuinty’s job. The Finance Minister announced at Queen’s Park on Wednesday, that he does not want the Liberal leadership, and added that he would not seek reelection in his Windsor riding in the next election. McGuinty announced last week that he would step down, after 16 years as party leader, including nine years as premier. Several other leadership hopefuls have said they were waiting on Duncan’s decision before announcing their intention to enter the leadership race.
