The Ministry of Natural Resources has slapped a $9,000 fine on a Toronto fish plant for selling salmon contaminated with listeria. MNR says some of the samples taken from Daily Seafood Incorporated in July had up to 34 times the acceptable limit of bacteria. The tainted fish was distributed to 60 markets, restaurants and caterers in the GTA.
