Police in standoff with armed man at a home in Mississauga

Peel Police are dealing with an armed man who’s barricaded himself inside a home in the Britannia Road and 407 area. Officials say they were called to the scene just after 11:00 Monday morning. Police say the man is armed with a sword and they’re trying to negotiate a peaceful end to the situation.
