Durham Police are searching for a suspect after a fraud incident in Uxbridge. According to authorities, between June 21st and June 27th, an elderly woman received numerous calls from a man saying he was her bank manager. He told the victim he wanted to catch a teller who was stealing from accounts. The woman withdrew money as the man requested and gave it to the suspect who identified himself as Mr. Watters, a security guard from the bank. The suspect is described as white, approximately 45 years-old and had a slender build. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
