One person dead, another in hospital after crash on the DVP

One person is dead, and another in hospital following a crash on the DVP. Officials say at about 5:15 Saturday morning, the driver of a pick-up truck, travelling southboud just south of Spanbridge Road, lost control and hit the guardrail. The 18 year old male driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene while a 19 year old male passenger is listed in stable condition in hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. There’s no word yet on possible charges. Any witnesses are urged to call police at 416-808-5400 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
