Residents invited to shred documents in exchange for a donation

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Durham

Shredding is a great way to keep identity thieves away from your recycle bin. On Saturday, Durham Police are teaming up with Shred It to offer the service to the community. Old receipts, insurance statements, invoices and other personal documents will be shredded in front of your eyes. Participants are asked to make a voluntary donation to the Law Enforcement Torch Run in return. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Courtice Community Police Station.
