Girls charged in London bullying case while moments of silence and vigils planned to remember bullying victims

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories

Police in London have charged eight teenaged girls with criminal harassment in connection with a highschool bullying case.  Police say the victim was the target of physical, emotional and cyber bullying.  They say more charges are possible.  Meanwhile, students and staff within the Toronto District School Board held a minute of silence to remember bullying victims.  The Board says it was to show bullying will not be tolerated.  Vigils are also planned across the country and around the world to remember bullied BC teen Amanda Todd, who took her own life last week.  National Bullying Awareness Week is scheduled for November 12-17th.
