Posted by news | Filed under Durham, Exclude

An exciting opportunity for an Oshawa girl.  10 year old Kathleen Gale has been chosen as this year’s Police Chief for a day.  She was selected by a volunteer committee who chose her essay during a recent competition.  Kathleen is a grade five student at John XXIII Catholic School.  Her duties will include a tour of police headquarters and an introduction to various police units.  She will receive a uniform and a gift pack, as well as attend the 10th annual Police Appreciation Dinner and Awards night.
