Drugs seized in routine traffic stop

A routine traffic stop for Durham Police has resulted in the seizure of $40,000 in marijuana.  According to authorities, around 3 p.m. Saturday, a patrol officer conducted a routine stop on Kingston Road for a speeding motorist.  The officer allegedly detected the odour of marijuana along with drug paraphernalia.  The driver was arrested without incident.  Investigators later executed a search of a Bainbridge Drive home in Pickering and seized marijuana as well as plants and indoor grow-op equipment.  29 year old Glenn Hamilton and 31 year old Andrew Fox, both of Pickering have been charged.
