4.5 magnitude earthquake shakes Montreal

An earthquake shook residents of the Montreal region, early Wednesday morning. Natural Resources Canada says the magnitude 4.5 quake hit just after midnight, lasting just a few seconds and was centred southeast of Montreal. Some Ottawa residents also reported feeling the quake. There are no reports of serious damage.
