Durham Police investigating long weekend muggings in Ajax and Pickering

Two long weekend muggings are under investigation by Durham Police. On Friday evening, in the Salem and Bayly area in Ajax, a teen was approached by two suspects and was made to hand over his personal belongings. Suspect#1 is described as: male, black, approximately 5’8” and 16-17-years-old. He was wearing a black leather style jacket, black jeans and a red baseball hat. Suspect #2 is described as: male, black, 16-17-years-old, about 5’6”- 5’7”, with a thin build and dark curly hair. He was wearing a black jacket and dark coloured jeans.
Meanwhile, early Sunday morning in Pickering , another teenaged victim was approached by an armed suspect in the Glendale and Kingston Road area and robbed of his personal belongings. The suspect is described as: male, black, about 5’9”, 17-18-years-old. He had a black bandana covering his face and was wearing a black and red hat, a black jacket, black pants and white shoes. Police ask that victims of crime comply with criminals, and not try to take justice into their own hands.
