Strategic plan in place for the Central East LHIN

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Durham, Healthcare

The Central East LHIN has come out with its strategic plans for 2013 through 2016.  In it, officials hope to reduce the demand for long term care so that seniors can spend more days at home.  They also want to improve the vascular health of residents as well as strengthen the system of support for people with mental health and addiction issues.  The plan will be officially submitted to the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care on November 30th.  Anyone that would like to share their input is asked to complete an on-line survey, that can be found through by clicking here.
