Food drives preparing for holiday season

Simcoe Hall Settlement House in Oshawa, is celebrating a good start to the holiday season.  The Kiwanis Club recently held their annual fall food drive, and brought in 1,200 dollars in cash and 12,000 pounds of food.   Executive Director Mark Shuwera says the need for help is continuing to climb.  He says they’re always in need of things like peanut butter, canned juice, canned soups and stews as well as breakfast cereals.
