Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Durham, Politics, Toronto

Youth in Pickering are getting a helping hand from the federal government, as they invest in the YMCA Greater Toronto. The organization will receive over $480,000 and Pickering-Scarborough East MP Corneliu Chisu says it’s very important to get young people in the workforce, so they can prepare for their future. Cover letter and resume writing and interview preparation are some of the topics the initiative will address. The funding comes from Skills Link program.
