Charter bus from Toronto didn’t have proper licencing to be operating state-side

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Toronto

A charter bus from Toronto which crashed on its way to New York City, was not supposed to be travelling in the US. US officials say AVM Max 2000 had its licence revoked in July, after the company’s insurance expired. The company also had five citations related to driver fatigue. There were 57 people on the bus, which crashed in New Jersey. Initially, 23 people were rushed to several area hospitals. The investigation into the cause of the accident is continuing.
