OPP out in full force this long weekend

OPP say they’re taking the campaign to reduce the carnage on provincial highways up a level for the Thanksgiving long weekend. Officers will focus on impaired driving, aggressive driving, improper or lack of seatbelt use, and distracted driving. It was a tragic start to the weekend on Friday, as there were two traffic fatalities in the GTA. One person was killed in a collision in Georgina around 1:00 p.m., while a male motorcyclist in Toronto died after a crash in the Jane and St. Clair area around 3:00 p.m.
