Two people killed in separate crashes in the GTA

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, GTA, Roads, Toronto

The long weekend drive is off to a deadly start.  York Regional Police say one person has died and two others are in hospital after a crash in Georgina.  Officials say a tractor trailer and a car collided on Ravenshoe Road just before 1:00 Friday afternoon.  Police say it’s too early to tell how the two vehicles ended up crashing, but investigators are urging any witnesses to call 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7704.  Meanwhile, in Toronto, a motorcyclist was killed after a collision in the Jane and St. Clair area around 3:00 Friday afternoon.  The cause of that accident is also under investigation.
