Police advise the public of a rash of vehicle break-ins in Whitby

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Crime, Durham

Durham Police are urging people to report suspicious activity in their neighbourhood and to lock their vehicles. During the month of September, 91 vehicles were broken into in Whitby, the majority of which were not locked. Police say thieves are looking for items of value, like cell phones, GPS units and change. They recommend taking these things with you, or when leaving them behind, make sure they’re out of sight.
