Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Durham, Healthcare

Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences in Whitby is celebrating a major funding announcement that will go towards their adolescent and youth outpatient program.  The $150,000 donation will help expand youth and adolescent care as well as the opening of their new outreach clinic this winter.  President and CEO Glenna Raymond says the new clinic will provide intensive outreach to young people with mental health issues as they try and reintegrate back into their home lives. Staff at the clinic will include a nurse practitioner, psychiatrist, psychologist, social workers and occupational therapists.
