Body found in Lake Ontario confirmed as that of a missing Ajax teen

There is confirmation that a body found in Frenchman’s Bay over the weekend, is that of Mitchell Somerville. Durham Police had speculated that the body was that of the 17-year old Ajax boy, who went missing September 21st. A post-mortem exam found no evidence of foul play and investigators believe the death is a case of misadventure. Police are still waiting on the results of toxicology tests.
