Pedestrian hit by a vehicle in Oshawa

An Oshawa man is in hospital with serious leg injuries after being hit by a vehicle. Durham Police say around 2:00 am Tuesday, a vehicle mounted the curb in the King Street and Simcoe area, and hit a 56 year old man, before fleeing the scene. Officers found a suspect licence plate at the scene and the driver was located and arrested at a nearby car wash. 46 year old James Hunt of Oshawa is facing drunk driving and faulure to remain charges.
