Veridian unveils rooftop solar panels at their Ajax headquarters

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Durham

Veridian is celebrating the official unveiling of a roof-top solar panel array, at their headquarters building in Ajax. Officials say the panels will generate 16,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity every year. Enough to power about 20 homes.  VP of Operations, Mark Turney says solar panels are much more efficient than years ago, and they’re also becoming more affordable. Officials say the solar array will generate revenue over a 20 year term, through the Ontario Power Authority’s feed-in-tariff program.
