West Nile Virus blamed for two deaths in Durham Region

Despite the season coming to an end, West Nile Virus is continuing to wreak havoc across the province.  Health officials say two more people have died from the virus, both in Durham Region.  That’s on top of the death of a 74 year old man from Toronto and a 71 year old man from Windsor-Essex County.  In Durham Region this year, there have been seven confirmed and probable human cases of West Nile, with 220 cases province-wide.
