Durham Police charge Scarborough man in million dollar investment fraud

A 56 year-old Scarborough man has been charged in connection with a million dollar fraud investigation. Durham Police say 10 individuals and businesses reported being defrauded in a green energy investment. Investigators say between December 2009 and this past March, the accused set up a company in Bowmanville geared at manufacturing wind turbines, and allegedly forged documents and a fake licence. The company was called Saunders Power Incorporated and was located on Wellington Street West. Gregory saunders is charged with fraud and forgery.
