Durham Police arrest man accused of stealing a ring from an autistic victim

Charges have been laid, after a man with autism was robbed in Courtice earlier this month. Durham Police say on September 13th, the victim was approached outside a drug store…the suspect asked to see the victim’s ring and took off. 32 year old Christopher Vella of Courtice is facing a theft charge. The ring has been recovered, and returned to its owner.
