Child seized and Oshawa man arrested on drug charges

  A 28 year old Oshawa man is facing numerous charges, and was forced to surrender his child to youth workers, after an incident this weekend.  Durham Police say just after 2:00 Saturday morning, a man was arrested for impaired in the Ritson and Dean area. The accused then told officers, that his child was unattended at home. Officers found the child sleeping and also discovered a marijuana grow-op in the house.  The child was taken by youth workers and was not hurt. Officers seized more than $20,000 worth of drugs.
