York Police lay additional charges after investigation into slashed tires

York Police have laid additional charges against a 21 year-old man in relation to complaints about tires being slashed in the Town of Oak Ridges. Officials say on September 13th, they arrested and charged Sviatosla Pougatchev. The accused originally faced eight counts of Mischief over $5,000, but as more victims came forward, he has now been charged with 73 counts. Investigators have determined a total of 88 tires were damaged and the replacement value is approximately $21,800.
