Boy rescued by Toronto passerby after being pinned underneath a car

A group of passersby in Toronto sprang into action to rescue a nine-year-old boy by lifting a car off him around 1:00 pm Saturday in east Toronto near Millwood Road and Overlea Boulevard. Police say the boy was hit and pinned under the car while running through traffic to catch a bus. The boy suffered road rash and back injuries that required hospitalization. He is listed in stable condition.
