OPP launches “buckle up” campaign

Beginning next week police across Ontario will be participating in the Provincial Seatbelt Campaign. The campaign is aimed at ensuring motorists buckle up and that children are properly restrained. Chief Superintendent Don Bell says 20 per cent of all fatalities on O-P-P-patrolled roads this year have resulted from people not wearing or improperly using seatbelts.
