Suspect sought in armed convenience store robbery in Pickering

Durham Police are looking for a lone male suspect, after a convenience store robbery in Pickering.  Officials say at about 9:00 Monday night, a man wearing a disguise and armed with a gun, stole cash from the Daisy Mart at Rosefield and Finch.  Two employees in the store at the time, were not hurt.  The suspect is described as possibly of Asian descent, in his early 20′s, 5’3″ and weighing close to 120 pounds with a slim build.  He was dressed in dark clothing and was carrying a grey and black handgun.  Anyone with information is urged to call police at 905-579-1520, ext. 5355 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
