Suspect remains outstanding after attempted bank robbery in Toronto

Toronto Police are looking to the public for help in finding a suspect, wanted in relation to an attempted bank robbery. Officials say back on July 6th, a man, claiming to have a gun, passed a note to a teller at a bank on Lake Shore Boulevard West near Islington. The victim spoke with another employee, and the suspect fled before obtaining any money. The man is described as black, between the ages of 20 and 25, and had a beard and moustache. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-7350, or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477.
