Home invasion in Oshawa leads to arrest

Five men are under arrest after a home invasion in Oshawa. Durham Police say the suspects forced their way into a home in the 401 and Simcoe area, around 7:30 pm Sunday, demanding cash and drugs. There were two adults and three children in the home at the time, and fortunately no one was hurt. The suspects were arrested a short distance away and two firearms were seized. Charged are: 35 year-old Marlon Jones and 22 year-old Howard Burke of Ajax, 23 year-old Kevin Ley of Oshawa, 21 year-old Robert Jasmer of Clarington and a 17 year-old youth from Scarborough.
