Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Politics

MP’s are heading back to Ottawa Monday to begin the fall sitting of Parliament. Heading into the session, a new Canadian Press Harris Decima poll found the Harper Conservatives have a seven point lead among decided voters, at 34 per cent. The NDP remains in second spot at 27 per cent, while the Liberals are in third with 24 per cent. Meanwhile, the Harper Conservatives second budget implementation bill is expected to get a lot of attention this session. Government House Leader Peter Van Loan calls it the “cornerstone legislation” for a sitting focused on job creation and economic growth.
