Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, GTA, Roads, Toronto

The eastbound lanes of the 401 are closed in Mississauga, after a serious accident that happened just after midnight, early Thursday morning.  OPP say a tractor trailer crashed into the back of an MTO vehicle at Winston Churchill Boulevard, resulting in a massive diesel spill.  Officials say the roadway is now having to be ground up and re-paved.  One worker at the site was rushed to hospital with serious injuries and the driver of the truck is facing charges.
