Man arrested after domestic incident in Clarington

A 32 year old man is facing numerous charges, after a domestic-related incident in Clarington on Tuesday night.  Durham Police say they were called to the scene at about 7:30, by a woman who claimed her ex-spouse had broken into her home and stolen personal property.  With the help of the Air-1 helicopter and the K9 Unit, the suspect was located hiding in a nearby field.  No names are being released, in order to protect the victim’s identity.  Anyone with information is urged to call police at 905-579-1520, ext. 5231 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
